Assist pharmacists in providing pharmaceutical care by accurately preparing, labeling, and delivering medications and related products. Process prescriptions, refill requests, billing and inventory tasks, and support medication services across hospital departments. Prepare and label medications, including chemotherapy and IV products when assigned. Fill prescriptions and medication orders, and deliver medications and supplies to patient care areas. Process new prescriptions, refills, billing, charging, and crediting transactions. Inspect assigned areas for expired or unusable drugs and maintain proper storage and inventory. Perform non-sterile compounding and prepare enteral nutrition products and batch IV products as assigned. Support pharmacy projects, maintain training materials, and assist with training new hires.
