Prepare and fill inpatient medication orders, compound sterile and non-sterile medications, restock automated dispensing machines, and manage medication storage and delivery. Perform advanced functions such as controlled substance monitoring, inventory management, discrepancy resolution, process improvement, and training new associates. Full-time overnight role with a 7-on/7-off schedule. Prepare and fill medication orders, including hazardous medications and sterile products, for safe administration. Restock automated dispensing machines and repackage medications. Compound IV medications using sterile technique, package medications for distribution, and maintain production logs. Monitor controlled substances, manage inventory, resolve discrepancies, and generate reports. Safely store medications and transport them to designated patient care unit locations within turnaround standards. Train new associates and provide cross-coverage for specialty pharmacy technician functions.
