Jackson HealthPros is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Tech to support pharmacy operations within partner healthcare facilities. In this role, you will accurately fill and label prescriptions, manage inventory, process insurance claims, and maintain detailed records in pharmacy software systems. You’ll work under a licensed pharmacist to prepare medications, assist with patient questions, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Fill, label, and package prescriptions under pharmacist supervision Measure, count, and compound medications with high accuracy Process and verify insurance claims and prior authorizations Maintain medication inventory, ordering, stocking, and rotation Operate pharmacy management and dispensing software systems Assist patients and clinicians with prescription questions and pickup Maintain complete, accurate records and documentation Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations Support quality, safety, and infection-control procedures Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and facility staff to coordinate care Prescription filling and verification Medication compounding and measurement Pharmacy management software (e.g., EnterpriseRx, ScriptPro, Pyxis/Omnicell) Inventory control and ordering Insurance billing and claims processing Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations HIPAA and patient privacy compliance Data entry and documentation accuracy Basic pharmacology and drug classifications Customer service in a healthcare setting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential State pharmacy technician registration or license, as required Knowledge of pharmacy law, HIPAA, and medication safety standards
