Order Entry LPN / Pharmacy Technician Rate: $26 - $27.50/hour (depending on experience) Shift Differential: Additional $1.50/hour for hours worked between 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Shift: Full-Time, Evenings (Office Position) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Location: Autumn View Health Care Facility The McGuire Group is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry LPN / Pharmacy Technician to join our centralized team in Hamburg, NY. In this office-based role, you'll collaborate with pharmacy teams, medical providers, and facility nurses to accurately enter and audit physician orders within electronic health records. Training is provided!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enter and audit computerized physician orders within electronic health records Review medication orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation Collaborate with pharmacy teams, medical providers, and facility nursing staff Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records Identify and communicate order discrepancies to appropriate clinical staff Follow established medication protocols, documentation standards, and facility procedures Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 18 years of age Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Pharmacy Technician Medication knowledge or related background required Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams Strong attention to detail and accuracy
